If you are the right Tenants, we are happy to consider the best rental option to meet both of our requirements. We are offering a number of options for the three bedroom, two bathroom downstairs space comprising 1,841 square feet. For those requiring a bit more space, the upstairs can be included for an additional price, for a total of 2,485 square feet.
OPTION 1: Our preferred rental option is fully furnished and fully equipped. Ready to move in. Why not? All of the details that make a house a home. $3,100/month, lease duration and security deposit are negotiable. For shorter term stays we can add an additional flat rate to cover all utilities, phone, internet, and cable TV. The furniture descriptions listed under Option 2 are all included.
- If you enjoy cooking and fine dining: stainless pots and Calphalon skillets, complete quality cooking utensils, all kitchen appliances (toaster, blender, juicer, mixer, coffee grinder), ceramic bowls and dish sets, glasses for every occasion, quality flatware, plus many fine details. Don’t forget the table cloths, cloth napkins, place mats and more.
- Two sets of high quality Egyptian cotton linens (mostly 400 count) for each bed, natural fiber blankets, duvets, bed covers, bath sheets and towels of all sizes.
- For entertainment there is a Bose Wave, three flat screen HD TVs, a combination DVD/video cassette player/recorder and a regular DVD player, a home theater system including a Bose surround sound speaker system and a powerful Yamaha amplifier/tuner/equalizer.
- An eclectic mix of art work from around the world throughout the house.
- For the garden, we will include everything you need: gas lawn mower and blower, shovels, rakes, spades, wheel barrel and a tumble composter that even makes compost tea.
OPTION 2: Fully furnished. Tasteful, eclectic furnishings with quality items from around the world. We can negotiate exactly what does and does not work for you. $2,600/month, lease duration and security deposit are negotiable.
- Consider the gourmet kitchen: all stainless steel appliances including a double door refrigerator with ice and cold water at your fingertips, a five burner heavy duty gas stove with double electric ovens for the serious cook, a Bosch dishwasher, and a professional butcher block on wheels with stools, providing a moving island affect.
The dining room has a beautiful double side piece with an oversize shelf, six cupboards and six drawers to hold all of you fine dining linens, dishes, glasses of all sizes, silverware and serving pieces. The wooden dining room table easily seats six to eight, plus a couple more when you add the leaf. Wooden carved chairs from Indonesia provide extra seating.
- In the living room is a large sofa and coffee table, with Kenyan Seagrass (like wicker but with a tighter weave) chairs and lounge and a wooden hutch with glass doors. Wooden side tables from Lamu (an Indian Ocean island) and lamps from Africa complete the room.
- Bedrooms include, of course, beds (king in master, one with a queen and one with a two twins), night tables (two sets from Africa, with African lamps) and dressers. The master bedroom has a vintage lounge bought at an auction estate sale in Harare.
- The spacious hallway downstairs has a seating area with a settee and small side table.
- Outside on the deck, enjoy a wooden table and chairs with cushions with a large, colorful umbrella, a wood bench with cushion and pillows and a side table. A garden bench is ready for action near the fire pit. We will even include a kids table and chairs, a play picnic table and play stove in the playhouse.
OPTION 3: Unfurnished. $2,100/month with a 12 month lease. Security deposit of $3,000.
OPTION 4: Need a little more space? Willing to pay a bit more? Choose any of the options above, and we will include the spacious upstairs bonus room with loft, full bath, walk-in closet and expansive mountain views for an additional $500/month added to the prices above.
- The spacious upstairs can be what you want it to be … family room, home theater, office, studio, in-law suite, you name it. It is currently configured as (1) a family room/home theatre with a fold down sofa and oversized wicker chairs, (2) an office with tables, chairs and book shelves with doors, and (3) the loft provides extra sleeping space with a double bed.
