The house started as a 1920s bungalow and has evolved over the years into an up-scale, spacious, comfortable, modern executive-style home. The original house was completely renovated a few years ago from the bottom up. All new hardwood oak floors, large sunny windows and doors, wood siding and of course a new roof to top it all off. This part of the house includes a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and all brushed stainless steel appliances and hood over the five-burner gas stove and double oven. With an open floor plan, the kitchen opens into the dining room, which opens into the living room with a gas fireplace and spacious side nook with a large picture window overlooking the property. Enjoy the wooden deck off of the living room with a year-round panoramic mountain view. In the original part of the house, there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a bath and shower and quality ceramic fixtures.

Not quite enough? A new addition was built in 2004 ensuring the required space and comfort for the whole family and your guests, bringing the total area of the house to nearly 2,500 square feet. On the ground floor is the laundry room and the master suite with the large master bedroom (nearly the size of a small dance floor), with double closets and a spacious master bathroom with a large picture window overlooking the property. Upstairs is the large, panoramic bonus room with a loft, full bathroom and walk-in closet. With unlimited uses, the upstairs can by your family room, home theatre, office, art studio or a large bedroom suite. This house is uniques!! The mountain view is amazing!!

The house is located on a gentle southward slope overlooking the property with mountains in the distance, with your privacy assured. The view and sunsets are great, especially in the winter when some of the trees lose their leaves. During the winter months, the expansive south side windows provide plenty of light and passive solar heat, often eliminating the need to run the heaters during the daytime. The original part of the house is oil heated, while the new addition is equipped with an electric heat pump. In the summer months, the sun moves north providing excellent sunshine in the garden, but keeping the house surprisingly cool and comfortable. Great layout, great design!! The new addition features central air conditioning. The house is connected to town water and has its own septic system.
